Our commitment

We market the event like it matters.

Deck the Shelves will be supported by a dedicated promotional campaign across Shelf Indulgence’s social platforms, email audience, in-store channels and event marketing. Participating vendors and authors will receive shareable graphics and event information so we can build momentum together.

Designed intentionally

A market built for browsing, discovering and staying awhile.

We’re intentionally planning for wider walkways, a thoughtful vendor mix and a comfortable flow throughout the Pavilion. Our goal is a welcoming event where guests can discover new books and small businesses without feeling packed into the space.

What we stand for

Human-made work. A safe, inclusive space.

Deck the Shelves does not permit generative AI-created or AI-assisted artwork, writing, products, covers, promotional materials or other creative work. Vendors may not purchase mass-produced products from marketplaces such as Temu, Amazon or similar sources for resale as handmade or independently produced goods.

We are committed to maintaining a welcoming, inclusive and harassment-free event. Hate speech, discrimination, harassment, threats or conduct that compromises the safety of attendees, vendors, authors, staff or volunteers may result in removal from the event.
